Terms of Service

StrategyProfiler provides analytics and educational tools based on trading data you supply or connect: MetaTrader 5 backtest reports, live account feeds and your own journal. It is a research aid. We do not manage money, hold funds, or act as a broker.

StrategyProfiler itself never opens trades and never places orders. The only software we provide that can act on a trading account is the optional StrategyOverlay / Archimedes Expert Advisor (EA), described in section 5.

Nothing in StrategyProfiler, its emails, alerts, assistant, or any other output is investment, trading, financial, tax or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, size or close any position. We are not registered as an adviser or dealer with any securities regulator, and using the service does not create an adviser, fiduciary or client relationship with us.

Our analytics describe past and live data only: what a backtest or an account did, how two figures compare, and how much evidence a comparison rests on. Past results, simulated or live, do not predict future results. Every trading and risk decision is yours.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts are for a single person; sharing access is not permitted. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter a contract.

When you link a broker or trading account, you authorise us to read the data needed to build your profile. Read-only (investor) access is all StrategyProfiler asks for, and it never uses a connection to place orders. Brokers, prop firms and other third parties have their own terms, which apply to your relationship with them.

The EA is optional software that runs on your own MetaTrader 5 terminal, under your control, as your tool. It starts in Observer mode, in which it only records and reports. If, and only if, you switch it from Observer to Active, it can close positions (in whole or in part) or move stop losses, strictly according to rules you configure. It never opens new trades.

You choose whether to run it, which mode it runs in, and every setting it uses. You are responsible for those settings, for testing them (for example on a demo account) and for any result of the EA acting on them. We do not monitor or operate your terminal.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use StrategyProfiler and its outputs for your own trading research while your account is in good standing. You do not acquire ownership of the software, its methods or its content.

You may not, and may not help anyone else to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise try to extract source code or methods;
• scrape, bulk-export, copy, resell or redistribute the service or its analysis;
• use the service or its outputs to build, train or benchmark a competing product;
• bypass access controls, licence checks or plan limits.

The EA is licensed per trading account. Its licence is non-transferable, may not be shared or redistributed, and covers the compiled build only. Source code is not licensed unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Do not upload unlawful content, or post abusive, obscene or harassing material in the community areas. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to your payment method at the price that applies to your subscription, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time while signed in, from the subscription page (/subscribe), using the Cancel subscription button. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

If we change subscription prices (as we are doing on November 1, 2026), the new prices apply to new subscriptions only. An existing subscriber keeps the price they signed up at for as long as that subscription stays active. If a subscription is cancelled or lapses, re-subscribing is at the price current at that time.

A Lifetime membership is a single payment for access to Pro features for the lifetime of the StrategyProfiler service, not the lifetime of the purchaser. It is personal to the purchaser and cannot be transferred, sold or shared. Lifetime seats are limited in number. Features included in Pro may change over time as described in section 11.

If we discontinue the StrategyProfiler service, we will give Lifetime members reasonable advance notice and a way to export their data. Refunds of Lifetime payments are governed only by the Refund Policy.

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Features may be added, changed or retired. Material changes to these terms will be announced in the app before taking effect.

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses or other damages arising from your use of the platform or the EA. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with a pro-rata refund of any unused prepaid period where required by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [Province] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of that province have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
