StrategyProfiler vs Edgewonk

Edgewonk is a trading journal: it imports your trades and helps you find where your edge is and where execution lets you down. StrategyProfiler is for automated MT5 trading: it reads EA backtests and live accounts, rather than journalling decisions made by hand.

Edgewonk details checked on its own site in October 2026. Features and prices change, so check there before you buy. Edgewonk is a trademark of its owner; StrategyProfiler is not affiliated with it.

StrategyProfiler
What it does
Imports trades automatically and analyses performance, setups, timing, psychology and discipline.

Platforms
Over 200 brokers, including MetaTrader 4 and 5, NinjaTrader, Interactive Brokers, cTrader and TradeStation.
MetaTrader 5 only, in the browser. MT4 is not supported.
Pricing

Founding Lifetime is a one-time payment on a 555-seat ladder whose price steps up as seats sell: $59 for seats 1–100, $150 for 101–150, $300 for 151–200, $450 for 201–250, $600 for 251–555.

Buy the plan. No free tier is listed on its pricing page.
Free tier with one account and up to five strategies, plus a sample report you can open without an account.
Live account tracking
Imports trades from your broker accounts into the journal, with unlimited accounts.
Pro. The StrategyOverlay EA streams your MT5 account: daily-stop headroom, open risk if every stop is hit, positions with no stop, and live results against the backtest per magic number. The Mercer journal and phone app sit on top.
Multi-EA portfolio view
Tracks unlimited strategies within the journal. Combining backtests into one sized portfolio is not described.
The core of the product: several EAs at real lot sizes, read as one account.
Prop-firm checks
Tracks unlimited prop-firm accounts in the journal.
A pass simulator with firm presets: pass probability, expected attempts and fees, and lot sizes that fit the daily and maximum loss limits.
Reach for it when
You trade by hand across several markets and want to study your own decisions. That is the job it is built for.
The decisions are made by EAs, and the question is how those EAs behave together and against the firm's limits.
