Three EAs passed their backtests. The funded account lasted 19 days.
Every EA told the truth — and the account still blew up. There is a number that predicts it. MT5 will never show it to you. The free audit will, in 2 minutes.

The autopsy
Here's how it happens. You run three EAs. Each one backtests clean — 4% max drawdown here, 3% there, green across the board. MT5 grades them one at a time, and one at a time, they all pass.
But your prop firm doesn't grade EAs. It grades the account — and the account has a hard 10% line. Three EAs at 4% each don't add up to 4%. On the wrong week, they add up to twelve.
"The EAs didn't fail separately. They died together."
Overlay the three equity curves and the truth appears: on normal days they look diversified. On the worst days — the only days that decide funding — diversification evaporates. They break together. That's the number that decides whether you keep your account, and it's the one number your Strategy Tester will never print.

The resolution
StrategyProfiler is the account-level view MT5 doesn't give you. Export your Strategy Tester reports as HTML, upload them — two minutes — and you get the full picture: stacked drawdown, worst-day correlation, exact headroom before the breach line.
One account with up to five strategies is free forever, no card. When you want the portfolio watched continuously — correlation, live tracking that sets each EA’s live trades against its own backtest — that's Pro.
No. The profiler reads the reports MT5 writes (Strategy Tester HTML reports and account history), not your .mq5 or .ex5 files. A report holds the trades and settings MT5 printed into it, never the source code. The report file is read in your browser and is not uploaded; the trades parsed from it are saved in your browser and copied to your StrategyProfiler account so your other devices open the same workspace. Exactly what leaves your device.
Do I have to give you my MT5 password?
No. The audit and every Pro analysis run on report files, and Live Tracking runs on the StrategyOverlay EA that you install yourself. Your trading (master) password is never asked for anywhere. Two optional features, which you have to switch on yourself, take an investor (read-only) password, which can see the account but cannot trade it: connecting an account from your profile (through MetaApi, a third-party MT5 connection service), and the broker-verified track record (encrypted in your browser before it is sent). Skip both and no password of any kind is needed.
Will the numbers match my firm's dashboard?
They are built to be checked against it, not to replace it. Pick your firm and the daily and maximum drawdown lines are filled in from its published rule (FTMO, FundedNext, FundingPips, AquaFunded, DNA Funded, The5ers, TX3), and you can edit both to the exact numbers on your dashboard, along with the hour your firm's day resets. Backtest headroom is measured on closed trades, because that is what a Strategy Tester report contains; most firms also count floating losses intraday, which a report cannot show. That gap is why Prop Firm Safe sizing aims at 65% of your limits, not 100%. On a live account, the StrategyOverlay EA reports the broker's own balance and equity.
Can't I do this in Excel, MT5 or Myfxbook?
Partly. MT5's report grades one EA at a time; Excel can stack equity curves if you build and maintain the sheet; Myfxbook and your firm's dashboard track accounts that are already live. What they do not do for you is merge several Strategy Tester reports into the one account your firm will grade, before you fund it: combined drawdown, worst-day correlation and headroom to both breach lines. That part is free here. Side-by-side comparison.
I only run one EA. Do I need this?
Probably not Pro, yet. One EA still gets the headroom check against your firm's daily and max lines on Free. The account-level tools earn their keep the day you add a second EA, change a lot size or move to a different firm, because that is when drawdowns start to stack.
I'm not funded yet. Is it too early?
It is the cheapest time to run it. The audit works on backtests, so you can see whether the EAs you plan to run would fit inside the challenge's daily and max lines before you pay the challenge fee, and which lot size leaves room for a bad day.
MT4, cTrader, Mac or phone?
Built for MetaTrader 5: it reads MT5 Strategy Tester reports and MT5 account history, and Live Tracking uses an MT5 EA. MT4 and cTrader are not supported. The profiler runs in a desktop browser on Windows or Mac; MT5 itself is what produces the reports, so you need MT5 wherever you run your backtests (a Windows PC or VPS is the usual setup). It is not built for phones.
Which prop firms and rules are supported?
Presets for FTMO, FundedNext Stellar, FundingPips, AquaFunded, DNA Funded, The5ers (High Stakes and Hyper Growth) and TX3 Funding fill in the daily and max drawdown lines and note each firm's EA and news rules. Any other firm works too: type in its daily and max limits. Always check the numbers against your firm's current terms; firms change them.
What if it's not what I expected?
If StrategyProfiler is not what you expected, ask within 14 days of your first payment and it is refunded in full, no questions asked. That includes Lifetime. It applies once per customer. Ask through the community forum (or the in-app assistant on a paid plan) from the email on your account. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
Who is behind this? Is it legit?
StrategyProfiler is an independent, member-funded product. Its revenue comes from subscriptions only: no broker placement, no signal sales, no copy trading. It is early and says so: the first group of members is kept small while Live Tracking and Mercer are hardened against real broker and VPS setups. Before you pay anything you can open the sample report with no account, use Free with no card, and read the changelog. What happens to your data is on one page.
